"Fresh Tips for Success"

During the two-week summer program, students will create and publish a help book for ninth- and tenth- graders. Learning strategies will be included and will be drawn from the summer students' experiences:

working in cooperative groups,
discovering important mathematical concepts,
using manipulatives as models for concept development and problem solving,
using technology,
collecting and analyzing data,
exploring test-taking skills,
developing study skills,
using Windows, Microsoft Works, and Excel, as well as, the Internet to create the book.
