This
course is designed for elementary school teachers who are
seeking a strong foundation in geometry content. The primary
focus of the course is learning beginning geometry with
an emphasis on geometric investigations, geometric shapes
and symmetries, and transformations. Concepts are aligned
with the TEKS and HISD's CLEAR.

Geometric thinking and reasoning
· Similarity and congruence
· Transformations
· Use of manipulatives and technology to explore
algebraic concepts
Each teacher will receive course materials and technology,
Gifted and Talented credit, and professional development
credit.
