This course is designed for high school mathematics teachers who are seeking a strong foundation in calculus content through a conceptual approach. The primary focus of the course is learning elementary calculus with an emphasis on multiple representations and applications. Appropriate technology use will be stressed.
Concepts include:
- Limits and continuity
- Derivatives
- The definite integral
- Differential equations and mathematical modeling
- Techniques of integration
Each teacher will receive course materials, Gifted and Talented credit, and professional development credit.
