Representing Rice at the recent National Science Foundation (NSF) Summit in Washington D.C. on July 18-20, 2022 was Adem Ekmekci, Rice University School Mathematics Project (RUSMP) Director of Research and Evaluation. The summit showcased the work of the Rice University Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (NSF Grant No. 1950019): Collaborative Research: Exploring the Impact of Noyce Master Teaching Fellowship Programs on Teacher Retention: The Role of Motivation, Leadership, and School-Work Environment.

Adem along with Cindy Callard and Michael Daley, University of Rochester; Rebecca McGraw, University of Arizona; David Gibson and Karen Renzaglia, Southern Illinois University; Gregory Rushton, Middle Tennessee State University presented the poster titled “How do self-efficacy, leadership, teacher-school fit, and diversity dispositions relate to retention?”
