2021 RUSMP Courses and Programs for Mathematics Teachers

2021 Summer Campus Program (35th Annual Summer Campus Program)

Two-week program: June 14-17 and 21-24, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with follow-up sessions during the RUSMP 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring Networking Conferences

The 3 concurrent grade-level classes facilitated by RUSMP Master Teachers and Rice Faculty are:

  • Exploring Number Concepts in Grades 2-5
  • Developing Algebraic Reasoning in the Middle Grades (Grades 6-Algebra I)
  • Topics to Spark Student Interest in High School Mathematics (Geometry-Calculus)

Each teacher will receive 48 CPE hours and course materials for participating during the summer. In addition, Houston ISD will award 6 hours of GT credit. Additional CPE hours will be awarded for attendance during the RUSMP Fall 2021 and Spring 2022
