Adem Ekmekci Awarded Prestigious NSF Grant

Congratulations to Adem Ekmekci, the RUSMP Director of Research, for receiving a prestigious NSF Robert Noyce grant – “Collaborative Research: Exploring the Impact of Noyce Master Teaching Fellowship Programs on Teacher Retention: The Role of Motivation, Leadership, and School-Work Environment (NSF Award No. 1950019).” Rice University is the lead institution among seven universities, and Ekmekci is the Lead PI. Anne Papkonstantinou, Betul Orcan-Ekmekci, and Daniel Catanese are the Co-PIs from Rice University for this grant that also includes Middle Tennessee State University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, University of Rochester, University of Arizona, and University of California, San Diego.
