The Mathematics Education Trust (MET) has 30+ different grants, scholarships, and awards available, ranging from $1,500 to $24,000. The new Opening Gates for Prospective Teachers Grant has been created to honor the late James D. Gates and will fund NCTM student memberships for prospective teachers of mathematics at all levels, PK–12. Leaders of teacher preparation/certification programs who are NCTM members are eligible to apply for their programs and receive up to 10 student memberships for the following school year.
