Houston-area administrators answer: "What should you see in an effective 21st-century mathematics classroom?"

RUSMP hosted an Administrators' Conference at Farnsworth Pavilion on the Rice University campus on October 5, 2018. The conference focused on what to look for in an effective 21st-century mathematics classroom. Maria Franshaw, Elementary Mathematics Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator at River Oaks Baptist School, kicked off the conference with an overview of the characteristics of effective mathematics instruction and the support needed to ensure that it occurs. Administrators then shared their perspectives on this topic with each other through small group discussions followed by presentations to the entire group.

Maria Franshaw's compilation of administrators' responses is available here.
