Patricia McMorris, mathematics teacher and department chair at Milby High School and Rice University NSF Noyce Fellow, organized and co-taught a 3-day Math Genius Camp for incoming Milby 9th-grade students. The camp, held July 31- August 2 on the Milby campus, provided engaging mathematics activities to better prepared freshmen for advanced high school mathematics classes. The development of this camp was part of Ms. McMorris' 5-year plan as a Noyce Teaching Fellow for the improvement of mathematical instruction at her high school.
