RUSMP's Adem Ekmekci has received a very prestigious small research grant from the Spencer Foundation! The project entitled "The Nexus of Teacher Quality and Students' Social Cognitive Career Outcomes in STEM" will explore the connection between teacher quality and students' STEM persistence using a national dataset, High School Longitudinal Study (HSLS:09) of Institute of Educational Sciences.
Dr. Ekmekci (PI) and UHD's Danya Corkin (co-PI) will be working on this project together. The project will kick off on August 1, 2017 and is expected to be completed in July 2019.
