RUSMP hosted an informational conference hosted for administrators from the Houston area on Friday, February 9, 2018. The conference started with an overview of RUSMP and information about RUSMP's newest programs for teachers and students and services for PreK-12 schools and school districts. Dr. Faye McNeil, principal of Montgomery Elementary School, Houston ISD and member of the RUSMP Advisory Board and Doris Robins, Superintendent of Academy of Accelerated Learning, Inc. then shared their perspectives on the impact of RUSMP. The event concluded with administrators discussing the challenges facing schools and districts and some of the ways those challenges can best be addressed.
