RUSMP Noyce Fellows share their expertise at Building Relationships Between Teachers and Principals Conference

Two of RUSMP's National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Master Teaching Fellows shared their expertise during the Building Relationships Between Teachers and Principals Conference sponsored by the Rice University Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Education Department on March 3, 2018. Federico Hernandez, mathematics teacher and assistant principal from the Sam Houston Math, Science, and Technology Center, and Jason Ondruch, mathematics teacher at Westside High School, presented model lessons at this conference designed to highlight the development of effective principal/teacher relationships. These model lessons were the focal points of conference participants' examinatons of interactions between principals and teachers. After their lesson presentations, Ferderico and Jason particpated in an expert panel where they shared their perspectives and answered audience questions about building trusting and productive relationships between teachers and principals.
