Join us for this year's Fall Networking Conference to be held on October 5, 2019 at the Anne and Charles Duncan Hall at Rice University
We'll start out with a breakfast generously underwritten by Perfection Learning followed by a welcome message to participants. This year's conference will start off with University Professor and Maxfield-Oshman Professor in Engineering, Richard A. Tapia, sharing his keynote, "My Unlikely Journey from the Barrios of Los Angeles to the White House & the National Medal of Science".
There will be a STEM Professionals Panel covering topics such as: my personal journey into STEM, opportunities for future STEM professionals, and recommendations for K-12 teachers to support their students.
Later, a STEM Students Panel will investigate questions such as "how did I get here?" and "who helped me along the way?" as well as more reflections and recommendations for K-12 teachers to support their students.
Members of the RUSMP Teacher Network and school district administrators are invited to attend.
